Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

After 65 days straight with the Williams soap, I decided to take a day off and go with something new. Had gotten in a couple of bowls of vintage 1930's Renleigh shave soaps and after doing a couple of test lathers, I've been eager to use them for an actual shave. Wonderful lather on par with the best out there. Super thick and slick. Two passes (plus touch-up) with the '67 Gillette Super Speed and I finished up with alum, Thayers Cucumber witch hazel, a splash of Pitralon Classic aftershave lotion & Houbigant "Fougère Royale" EdP.

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 66

And now we go back to our regularly scheduled programming. Another great shave this morning from the Williams. Wonderful lather built with the Phoenix Shaving "The Peregrino" synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '59 Gillette Fatboy. Finished up with alum, & Castle Forbes "1445" aftershave balm & EdP.

Pretty Quick Two pass this Morning
A Few Chin Weepers - should not go down on Chin
Need to come across the Chin - knew better
Overall it was a Great BBS Shave
They weren't bleeding at the end so they don't count

Williams Mug Soap Challenge: Day 67

67 days and the Williams soap is still delivering the goods. The scented preshave soaps I mentioned came in and it's nice having some fragrance to go along with the superb lather. As stated, the soap itself didn't need help, but the preshave soap kicks the slickness up to 11! Also the new brush from Eric arrived and it's wonderful, whipping up a super thick and slick lather. Three passes with the '56 Gillette Super Speed and I finished up with alum, & vintage Shulton AS, talc and EdC.
