How would you describe it- I have been for over a year - trying to decide to pull the trigger on this - is this a Bay Rum type of scent?

No, not a bay rum at all. However, it is evocative of Caribbean culture and cuisine. Rum and especially the allspice to my nose puts this scent into it's own category. I've never smelled anything like it outside of Jamaican and Dominican cuisine. Coconut and lime are there but as more of a supporting cast to the rum and allspice.

Definitely a unique scent.

Just awesome the scent from this soap! Really aromatic with a creamy and slick lather. The brush is amazingly soft...perfect for face lathering...
The shave with these 2 vintage combinations of razor & blade was very very good. Can feel the edge was crisp but soft & smooth so it was very comfortable 3passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Excellent blade indeed! The aftershaves were excellent too especially with the matching AS balm!

Thank you. It's from Wedgwood. Ralph Wedgwood of that family was my mentor when I was in medical school, and I worked in his lab. It was because of him that I specialized in immunology. When it was time for the family to decide who was going to take over the running of the business in the early 1940s, they tossed a coin (or so he claimed, anyway). Ralph's brother won, so he continued to make china and porcelain goods while Ralph emigrated to the U.S. and became a doctor.
