2nd use of this soap and man...the scent is really something. It's lasting too as I can still smell it a few hours later. I am liking it more & more. Performance is okok only.
Best ever shave with this vintage razor and blade pairing. Very crisp, felt so smooth and comfortable. 3passes at setting 9-9-7 for a very close mostly bbs result. The pleasure was enhanced by the aftershave...really wow!

Today was my first shave with Fijar Haven Shaving Soap and Aftershave Moisturizer. This is my first shave post Williams 3017 and it was a welcome change, but I felt like the ultra slickness of Williams was missing from today’s shave. I believe this soap needs a little more time to wake up. I loaded it for 60 seconds with a fairly dry brush and I felt like I needed to go back to the soap for another 30 seconds. Overall a very nice BBS shave followed, I really did enjoy the scent and it almost lived up to its hype except the slickness was just not up to par with some other artisans. I’ll continue testing tomorrow and do a full review after a week of shaves. I also have the Fitjar Slåtterøy shaving soap and aftershave to test as well.

The Williams still remains. It is a persistent soap for sure. Today is the official last day of the One-Blade Challenge. I am happy to have made it, and will keep the blade around for some future shaves, but I want a break. DFS today
