Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Thayers + Hyaluronic + Axe Signature Denim
Very nice unassuming soap which is easy to lather and performs great! Thickly creamy and slick with a nice musky scent. The brush is a super nice handle and very soft on the face.
The shave with razor paired with the new blade was quite good. Sharpish, smooth, and comfortable for 3passes without any nicks weepers nor irritation for a mostly bbs to dfs result. Rating 9.5/10

Post: Nivea 2 Phase A/S Lotion + Sensitive
WTG, ATG, Touchups = WTF!!!!
What was a comfortable DFS+ was spoiled by me carelessly bumping the razor off the counter causing the thing to hit the bathroom floor and snapping the post cleanly off!!! So much so for my 2021 Sabbatical as I have emailed Smart Helix to see if they sell replacement caps as opposed to paying $130 USD for cap+spare plate...?
Not holding my breath and might just wait till next year and grab the cap+aggressive Light plate to go with my H plate.

I feel that I did a better job today with the straight razor. My angle of approach was much too shallow yesterday. Working the curves of the chin will still take more practice. While rinsing some lather off the blade, I did mange to just touch the toe on the side of the sink, and could feel it during the shave. Might need a touch up on that. I can honestly say this was a DFS today.
