Soaps on the Road

I know a lot of people like to save space with travel kits and all. I am kind of the opposite. I pretty much bring a full shaving setup. The only thing I don't bring is a mug or bowl. But otherwise...its full sized everything for the Don.

I do this. I mostly check my luggage so space is not really an issue.

Lately I’ve been dabbling in the stash of creams I’ve accumulated.

This week I’m in Denver and have some Saint James of London cream. Good stuff.

Very lightly scented, but outstanding performance.

Usually I take soaps in small containers like Lisa's soap before the latest Artisan changeover. Another one I like is Long Rifle which comes in a small container as well. Since I visit Guatemala every year I usually stop off at N'im P'ot in Antigua and pick up a pottery bowl for lathering while I am there. Also in my travel kit is my Rockwell 6S and Razorock 400 synthetic brush. All of this is in checked luggage. At the top right is a converted hot pan holder, also purchased at N'im P'ot in Antigua, which I use to protect the bowl--it fits right in. And it all fits in that small yellow Eagle Creek pouch shown.Shaving Travel Kit.jpg

Well that's soap for one day. Where are all the others?? ;)
I've gotten frustrated when I haven't brought enough samples to use a different one every day on a trip.
