Snow Storms 2025

@CBLindsay care to settle this. Tis a wench or winch ye employs to right carrages back on the paths?
As stated above, it NOT me Wench that does the work but the Winch. Many of those that made their way off the road into a ditch can also be recovered with a firm tug with a snatch strap.

They ( weather people ) say we may get up to 2 or 3 inches of snow this weekend ( Friday night / Saturday morning ) ... It would be the first time in like 3 years we have gotten any snow according to the weather people... People are freaking out and buying up Everything they can even though Saturday is supposed to be warmer and melt it ... But they also said it might not happen at all so we will have to wait and see.... If it comes up from Atlanta towards us then we WILL get it and probably MORE than they think because we always get more when it comes from the Atlanta way..

We got another 3 inches. It takes me an hour to go around the building shoveling the fire exits. At a balmy 18 degrees.....

Well, it warmed up a little and we were down to about 6 inches of snow left. As of the last 3 days, we are back to having 2 feet of that nasty white stuff....
My new snowblower is going to be worn out before this season is over!

Looks like they are calling snow for us in Louisiana this upcoming week. In my neck of the woods they say 4-8 inches (keep your mind out of the gutters). That's a light dusting for most of the US, but that is the apocalypse here in the deep south. I expect the entire system of government and all of society to break down. I am sure we will have to break out the guns and become cannibals. I look forward to the anarchy.

But seriously, we haven't had snow like that in about 7 years. And if we get 8 inches of snow...I don't know when the last time this part of Louisiana has had that.

This was the last time we had any significant amount of snow. I believe it was December of 2017.

It is forecasted to be even colder tomorrow morning. The high for today is supposed to be 10F. Woohoo, double digits this afternoon.
I’m more concerned you have a flat tire and a lot of traffic in your rear.

We've been very lucky thus far in the snow dept. Our mountains are getting plenty. And on the valley floor where we don't need it, it's been very minimal. Our reservoirs should fill up meaning plenty of water for the summer. The problem has been the bitter cold! No real negatives. But 5 degrees hits different when taking the dog out first thing in the morning. Couple that with a a high in the teens. I am ready for spring!

Tire pressure is actually ok, I need to get the Pressure sensors recalibrated.
He needs gas too!
Yep, will get some this afternoon.
You guys know I'm married right? And that I already have a little car helper who points out all this type of stuff already?😂

Weather app says it's 8F but my car was reading 13F , it has warmed up a little from this morning.
