Like Snow? I do, I love it!

Let's talk about any upcoming storms or post pics about what snow you are receiving! Or maybe just talk about some abnormal snow conditions you've seen.

Anyone ever experience Thunder Snow? It's CRAZY! Only heard it maybe 3 times in my life, but it's unforgettable.

Winter Storm Blair is almost here, and we are forecasted to get 8-12 inches of snow on Sunday!

I'm stoked! It's been ages since I've seen that much snow all at once. This should be daytime accumulation too. Not just waking up to 4 inches of snow that accumulated overnight.

If all goes well, they will close work and we'll have a snow day on Monday too!

It's supposed to start snowing for us on Saturday, with 1-3 inches of snow expected, but the majority of it will fall on Sunday. I've checked 3 different weather services and they all say the same thing, so that is very promising.

Our winter has been very weird thus far. Current trends are causing a lot of snow in our mountains, but rain and warmer temps where I live. There have been a couple of days where overnight a little bit stuck to the driveway. But not enough to warrant running my snow blower. This is the type of winter I prefer. I am sure it won't last however and a bigger storm is probably on the horizon eventually.

Well….

I did see some snowflakes….. oh wait that was some ash from my cigar on the patio

y’all have fun with that weather. 😃😃

Don't know if we are having a "storm" or not, bit we got 20 inches a week ago, then it rained for 3 days and was around 40...
Now we have about 8 inches from the last 3 days and Wed. Is supposed to be a high of 17...

So how are all you guys weathering the storm ? and KJ @Spider. How you doing ???? I hope All of you guys and gals are safe !!

So far it’s a lot of rain snow mix, resulting in 1/4” - 1/2” of ice covering everything. The snow band has shifted slightly north, but we are still expected to get 5-8” of snow today on top of the ice.

I’m also watching my neighbor’s place while he’s gone and looking after his indoor/outdoor kittens and his chickens, while he’s gone. So I need to make sure none of them get snowed in or that the ice doesn’t gum up their fences or doors.

Actually when we had the 20 inches Gerry didn't have that much. He's down close to my dad. I'm about 45 minutes north of him right on the bottom of the snow belt that runs off the lake.
True, we got less the first time. The second wave (last few days) we got about 10 inches.
