September Soap/Cream Themes

Saying good-bye to this summer friend...yeah right? Just probably won't use it as much as cooler weather approaches...whenever that may be. It's been consistently hitting the 100s for the past two weeks.

Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2nd Shave)
Soap/Cream: Stirling - Weekend in Malibu
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
The Penultimate Aftershave: Thayers Peach Witch Hazel

Cold cereal and a coffee didn't do the job yesterday, so I'm making my TTFFC Pink Grapefruit fried potatoes & onions, slathering with 4 eggs and topped with some chili flakes for breakfast this morning. Maybe once it tastes my cooking, it will leave.

I hear that grapefruit interacts with certain medications....maybe it interacts with certain soaps too!

Another summery scent to say good-bye to...or not!

Another wonderful (well, okay, not really 🤪 ) shave using my TTFFC Pink Grapefruit this morning. It is getting down and I might be able to finish this soap by the end of the month (I hope). I'll be happy to say goodbye to it and welcome in the "next of my worst" soap/cream/gel.

I know. Sad, isn't it?

I also 3017 food in the fridge. I often eat 2-day left-overs rather than freshly cooked food to my wife's chagrin. I simply tell her that she cooks too much and if I don't eat it, it will get thrown out.
PS. I HATE to throw out food. It must stem from my starving student days back in the '80s when I could only eat one meal on a weekend.

Sam...........chugging thru life unhappy, but not wasteful 🤪 😂 😂😂 I hear ya buddy (y) I do understand that our past experiences in life, shape our actions going forward. I see that in myself in some situations too.

Dude...I will eat Two Week Old food in the fridge as opposed to freshly cooked. I love me some left overs...especially if they have been in the refrigerator a little longer than they should! 🤪

Inspired by @Dave in KY from yesterday's shave...Ghost Lime got the call! Though I am not sure I can even say that I would pretend to say good-bye to this friend. This is one soap that stays in the den year round!

My friend*, the TTFFC Pink Grapefruit, had FINALLY taken the hint to pack up and leave! It started grumbing and such but began looking for some of its things this morning. But it is not a speedster and will probably hang around for another week or so by making excuses about how difficult it is to find a new place.

Another week? Come on Sam! The rest of that soap belongs in a Clown Puke tub!

Another soap that might be a summer scent that maybe some of you would kick to the curb during cooler months. But not me...this stuff smells too good!

While it does seem like forever, the TTFFC soap was 5oz and I am coming up on 2 month's usage. Therefore, I have reason to be happy* if it only lasts another week or so. Usually I will get around 3 months from a 4oz puck.

Tell your friends* "Get out!" week continues. My TTFFC Pink Grapefruit keeps looking for its socks and red clown nose; Soon I'll just pony up the cash for new ones just to get my spare room back.

No pic today but decided to use another CBL Soap and one that bares the same name as this Forum!

Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Sharp Stainless (New Blade)
Soap/Cream: CBL Premium Shave Soap - The Shaving Cadre
Brush: TSC First Anniversary Brush in Timber Wolf Synthetic by Eric Sorrentino @Smattayu
The Penultimate Aftershave: Thayers Peach Witch Hazel
The Ultimate Aftershave: Fine Accouterments - Fresh Vetiver

Soon, my friends. Soon. The TTFFC Pink Grapefruit's donut has been pushed into being a center hump, meaning...... it's on it's way out.
