I have really been random with my kit this week. Today was a nice shave with the Joseph Allen, but a bit rushed. DFS for the win! Life is good!

The Deets-
So … bittersweet shaving week. The Slim and Astra SP combination were a favorite I found early on, but I guess I need to search for an N3. Still banging on the T2 and it has broken in nicely. The bittersweet part is using The Fat. Like many before it, it will be missed when this puck is gone. The Duc de Santal was a great choice and I have enjoyed this scent all week.

Standard three pass shave today left me BBS for the win! Man, a great start to the day. Life is good!

The Deets-
Very nice shave this morning. Was running a bit behind, so grabbed the DE kit and it did not disappoint. Man, I’m really digging this sandalwood. Life is good!

Home Front-
Not much to report here. We had our monthly fishing tournament on Saturday. Up and out of the house by 2am and back home by 7pm. Grrrrr … have I mentioned that I’m not a morning person? Anyway … weather wasn’t too bad, but we had wind gusts that were fun. Some nice size rolling waves about launched me from the boat … twice. Managed to stay in the boat and dry though. I think we made it into the top 10, but out of the money so no joy there. But nice to be outdoors anyway.

So … still rocking this setup and will keep it all week. T’was a very nice, relaxing shave today. I am thinking about using the brush warmer for tomorrow. Life is good!

So … something interesting happened yesterday. Had a big HR training meeting for our entire department. And it appears that I sat next to someone that is allergic to this sandalwood. She continued to sneeze as long as she was sitting near me. She’d move away and then stop sneezing. Thankfully she moved and it was only a one day thing. I was worried she was going to snot all over me … ew.
