OMG ... an early shave. Was just a bit pressed for time and couldn't hit snooze this morning. I had additional doggy duties that I normally don't. Usually the missus takes care of the morning chores, but she is out of town, so guess who gets to pick them up? Anyone? So, with that in mind, I had to quicken the pace a bit this morning and I opted for a DE. Not a bad move either. I had Mudder Focker on deck before the last 3017, so I picked it back up again. I'm not sure yet if I will try some pseudo-3017 thing with this one or not. Or I may just rotate it in and out as the mood strikes. We shall see. I whipped up a really nice lather and had plenty for the shave and post shave.

I went with my standard thress passes of WTG, XTG and ATG and have no drama to report. A very pleasant shave, that wasn't too rushed and I am BBS for the win! I will so take that. A great way to start the week. Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. A splash of witch hazel and a splash of the AS. And you know, everything was right as rain! Nice post shave feel and with a nice powdery dry down. Yup, that was a great shave and I am ready for Monday. Life is good!

Home Front-
Ended up going out to my mom's yesterday to help move some stuff around. That kinda killed some of the things I had planned for yesterday, but it's not earth shattering. I do hope to make some progress on my shelves this week too. They need stained and sealed, so the upcoming rain may delay that a bit. A heavy work week to make up for my time off, with 2 projects that should be nearing completion this week. And ... gasp ... it's a full work week. What kinda crap it that? I should have scheduled that differently. But we take what we can get. Have a great day.

Another quick update with the only change being the shave and blade count. Another great shave too, resulting in BBS and I am ready for the day. Life is good!

Home Front-
The missus should be home today ... yeah! I'm sure they dog are tired of waking up so early, but it is what it is. Not much else to report, just picking things up and knocking them down.

The Process-
Happy Wetnessday! It's a sloppy wet mess down here in the Republic of Texas today. A front blew through, dropping temps and brought the wet. So ... early morning shave today and I had a bit more time, since I wasn't pulling doggie duty. Keep most of the kit, but decided to mix it up with a 'Jectah! Very good call I might add. Went with the standard 30 second load time and whipped up a ton of lather. Not sure if it's the soap or the brush, but this Stirling has turned into a lather beastie. Good stuff right there. I had enough lather for the shave and post shave, with plenty to spare.

Went with my standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That is a light, fun razor that delivered a BBS for the win! 'Jectah! ... nuff said. Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. I skipped the Witch Hazel and just hit the AS. Everything was right as rain! You know it. I have been kinda back and forth on the scent of this soap. I think I kinda liked it and used it for a week or so. Then it might see an occasional day of use and I was kinda not liking it anymore. Then I didn't want to use it and set it aside. I then decided that I would 3017 the thing and be done with it. That plan was interrupted by another 3017. So I have probably used this about 4 weeks all together on this go around and I'm back to kinda digging it again. Hmmmmmmm. Life is good!

Home Front-
The missus made it home safe and sound and there was much rejoicing. The dogs are glad they get to sleep in a bit longer too. Nothing much else to report, just moving forward.
