Ramblings of a MilkCrate

That sucks that there is no consideration given for taking time off. Seems like the right thing to do would be adding a small delay into a project or someone takes on a small need to do task. But I have to acknowledge I know nothing about IT other than they drive me crazy when simple requests need to be put into the queue and that it’s hard to cover anything when you’re short staff.

So in other words, there should be consideration for the employees time off.......unless it interferes with him works ng on your problems. Got it 😂🤣

I think that was pretty clear ;)

Actually, it’s more one IT department I could call and ask for help and they would do things. At this hospital if you call, they might listen and then just tell you to open a work order. Tim would help me. I know it.

Actually Tim the arrangement does seem fair. For example the Post Office is closed today and they all get a paid holiday but tomorrow they do have to deliver the mail from today and tomorrows too 😜

@NurseDave the queues are to gauge workload. Remember “do more with less”. A lot of companies don’t think IT is important until something is broken anyway. But the key to get round the queue and get expedited service is to use the code phrase “Hellooo Cadreee!”. Works evertime.
So @NurseDave is always at the front of the line...explains why I have to wait on hold every time I call our support desk at work!

Shave Count (DE: 351 SE: 6 SR: 390)

Pre Shave-
Splash and go

Shave-
Gillette Adjustable 84
Astra SP (3)
DSC Badger
CBL Sir Fougere Tonsorial soap (46)

Post Shave-
Post shave lather
Witch Hazel
Avon Spice AS

The Process-
Hitting the mid-week point in stride, with a quick update ... oh yeah. Rockin' it with an early morning shave that has finished up the CBL Tonsorial. Yup, that's it, no more left ... zip, zero, nada. The DSC Badger entered the Turkish Copper Bowl of Doom. Two products enter ... only one leaves. The remaining CBL was no match for the blunt force trauma of the badger. Whipped up a nice, wet lather and knocked it out.

Went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Boom! There it was ... another great shave and I am BBS for the win! I'll take that all week long. Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and drip dry. Splash of the witch hazel then a glug of the AS. Everything was right as rain! Man oh man ... digging the Spicy and I am "That Guy" today. Life is good!

Home Front-
Not much to report, just prepping for my presentation today. Speaking of which, here is some mood music.
