The Process-
Early morning shave and starting the week off strong. Switched up all the gear and we'll see if I run it all week. Thought I would give the synth another go and I like this brush. It's obviously different and I'm not sure how to describe the feel ... uh maybe synthetic. Anyway, started with a damp brush and whipped up a ton of lather. Had enough for three passes and a post shave lather. I have knocked a pretty decent size hole in this thing now and it's about the size of a half dollar. That's a coin for you younger folk.
40 laps on leather this morning. Went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. I wasn't sure if I would have time for an SR, but I did it any way. A very nice, relaxing shave and I am BBS for the win! Oh yeah ... starting this week off right.
Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and dry. Splash of the witch hazel and a healthy splash of the AS. Everything was right as rain! Yes, yes it was. Let's face it, a minimum requirement for GTB is at least a healthy splash. I am digging this mornings shave an will probably keep it until the end of the work week. Life is good!
Home Front-
The missus fell last night while feeding horses. Tromping through a muddy field that has been torn up from horses and cows is usually not fun. She was covered in mud when she got back to the house. I almost laughed, but I could tell that she was hurt. She twisted when she fell and has hurt her back and she even hurts to move. Got her a shower and in bed, but didn't have the heart to tell her it will probably hurt worse today. Couldn't stay home today and look after the missus, I had to go to work. Yet another crazy busy work week, with most of it occupied with onsite training. So three days of training, 4 days of work (somewhere in between) and one day off ... for the short week. Should be fun.
