Ramblings of a MilkCrate

Nice post! I have seen a few Henckles pop up on Griffith Shaving Goods and they look really nice. It is funny that you had interruptions this morning, as I found out why I shave in the mornings before my wife gets up. I shaved last night and three times my wife came in the bathroom to ask me a question that definitely could have waited until after I was done with my shave. Hope you have a great day!

I hate those kinda interruptions because you surely don’t want your elbow bumped. Thank you and you have a good day as well.

Well you made it back to tell the tale! I’m glad everything is OK

We have 3 kinda outside cats that wandered up (at separate times) and Debbie started feeding them. Now they hang around all the time. She feeds and waters them in the garage and we bought them a cat tree to play and sleep on. The cat tree is in the garage too. The cats can come and go as long as the big garage door is open. Once the big door closes, they are in for the night. They are stuck until the next morning when I leave.

This morning, one of the cats decided that they were ready to leave before I was ready. He came to the house door and was scratching it to let me know he wanted out. The bully heard that and was barking at the scratching noise.

Some dogs have deep barks even if a smaller size/breed. Ours when she finally had a reason to bark scared the wife to death. Sounds like a 300 pound Rottweiler. Glad you didn't get filleted with the interruptions.

Pre Shave-
Splash and go

Shave-
Shick Injector
Stirling Synth
CBL Sir Fougere Tonsorial soap (27)

Post Shave-
Post shave lather
Witch Hazel
Avon Everest AS

The Process-
Late morning shave because it’s my day off. Yeah baby! Decided to cheat and go with an easy shave, so I mixed up the kit a bit. The synth did a really good job if building a wet lather too. Not sure if it was a 30 second load time, but we’ll call it that.

Went with my standard 3 pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG and I have no drama to report. Oh man, that was an outstanding shave! Easy peasy and BBS for the win! Jectah! That was just what I needed today.

Finished up with a post shave lather, a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that with a splash of WH and a really healthy splash of the AS. With that, everything was right as rain. I am still digging this Everest AS. I may have mentioned that it starts out green, but the dry down is where it’s at. Life is good!

Home Front-
Dr appointment for the misses was good, just a check up. She didn’t want to car shop today ... for reasons. There is also some outside drama that is spilling into our house heavy stuff. I loath drama. I may goof with that sewing machine again today. Stay safe out there.

Aramis ASB

The Process-
Late morning shave ... oh yeah. Mixed it up and went random. The typical 30 second load time wasn’t doing it for me today and I ended up going back to the puck. I don’t know, a lot of people seem impressed with this brush, but I’m not one of them. Anyway, it did take care of business in the end.

40 laps on leather and it was go time. Went with my standard 3 pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG and I have no drama to report. Outstanding shave and I am BBS for the win! Oh yeah ... I’ll take that any day. And I definitely needed that today.

Finished up with a post shave lather, a quick rinse and pat dry. Followed that with a splash of WH and a dab of the ASB and with that, everything was right as rain. Wait ... I’m not done. Hit it with a ping of the cologne ... oh man. Now I’m done and ready to take on the world. Life is good!

Home Front-
Some errands and shopping today. Looks like we may be test driving stuff to ... most exciting. Have a great day!

I've heard good things about that brush too and I've been meaning to check it out, but something about it is repelling my wallet. Perhaps it can sense not stellar performance.

Want me to send it to you for a test drive? I would hate for you to buy and not like it.

No thanks, I think I can live without another brush. I think I have like 20 in my drawer. That's one thing I'm desperately trying not to spend money on going forward. :ROFLMAO:
