She is doing well, thanks for asking. She has eye surgery scheduled for next week. Once said and done, she will be able to see distance without glasses, but will need readers. She has worn glasses her whole life and she is stoked.

These were the shaves that wrapped up the work week. I kinda veered off and went with more variety this week and it was nice.
Man the scent of the Winsor is great. I have a wood bowl that I need to sand a bit and refinish so the soap has a home. The MWF is almost gone, so I need to replace that. And the missus told me to put the Stirling Gentleman in my STP (sell, trade, PIF) box so there ya go.
Today’s shave was outstanding. I had a nice, relaxing shave and I really dig the scent if Porthos. The missus can take it or leave it, but I am hanging on to this one. Had the day off and it has mostly been a chill day. The end of the day sucked, with the passing of our 17 year old Doxie. Hated to let him go, but he had a good life. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Life is good!

This soap was generously given to me by Bruce. Giving it a go today for the sniff test. The missus was having trouble smelling the scent. She said “Buy the aftershave and let’s see”. So there you have it. Broke down the two dog kennels today that are no longer being used. Kinda a chill day with house cleaning and honey do’s. Life is good!

Overcast and very windy today and I thought I would brighten the day with some Aramis. The soap has been long discontinued, but MWF works well as a stand in. This puck will need to be replaced soon, it is almost gone. Whipped up a nice lather and got to it.
20 laps on linen and 60 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Great shave! Finished it up with a quick rinse and towel dry. Then a dab of the ASB and everything was right as rain. BBS and smelling great! Life is good!
