The Deets-
Today is cold and overcast, so it sounded like a good day for Oakmoss. I can’t pick up any lavender or vanilla, or maybe I do and it’s blended well. The soap lathers quickly and produces a nice lather.

I kept the brush warmer and went with my typical three pass shave. The Black Beauty made quick work of the whiskers and I’m BBS for the win! Followed that up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain. Don’t think I will be doing anything outside today. Life is good!

The Deets-
I had this soap/AS set in my BSTP box awhile back, but didn’t get any bites on a sale or trade. So I thought I would use it today. A three pass shave that resulted in a BBS for the win! The razor was a bit rough, so back to the stones it goes. A splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain. Today is just a chill day for me. Life is good!

The Deets-
Worked from home today and enjoyed a glorious shave. The hot lather was oh so nice. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Those three luxurious paases left me BBS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! Great calm spot in the middle of the work day. Tomorrow I will mix the kit up a bit with a soap sample that I have been waiting to try. Life is good!

The Deets-
So for the last two days I have been using a sample of a new soap that Frank at Ethos is developing. This is a straight Sandalwood scent and he is targeting the AOS/Fine Santal scent profile. This is the first iteration and he is making some changes based on tester feedback.

So … it’s been awhile since I bowl lathered but I haven’t forgotten how. It whipped up a lot of nice smelling lather … a lot. Given how I am really digging my brush warner, I might have to look into a modern scuttle at some point. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. I could have used a straight, but was lazy I guess. The slickness of the soap is top notch. Those three easy passes left me BBS for the win! Yes indeed. I didn’t chase it with an aftershave, just a post shave lather and a quick rinse. The post shave feel, using just the soap, was nice too. Having the matching AS will be awesome. I am a big fan of straight up Sandalwood, so I’m excited that Frank is working on this one. Life is good!
