I missed posting yesterday, but it’s Bay Rum week at Casa de Milkcrate. Three smooth, warm lather passes and I’m BBS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! Man I dig this Bay Rum. Life is good!

The Deets-
So I was having a chat with @mrdoug about samples yesterday and it’s completely his fault that my shaving routine changed today. I have some samples that I still need to try and this one came in yesterday. This is a soap base to test that has no scent.

I had a half puck to work with and I dropped it in my Old Spice mug. I whipped it up with a wet brush on accident … my bad. The soap was really soupy and had a ton of air bubbles, but that may have been my fault. I loaded the brush for 45 seconds to make sure I had enough soap, since it was so wet. Dropped the brush in the warmer and rinsed my face

I face lather and it didn’t take long with scrubbing and painting to get a nice workable lather. I typically use a low profile, wet lather and that is what I got. Once stable, the lather worked fine with plenty of slickness and residual slickness. That was a very nice shave and I am BBS for the win! I’ll have to try another shave with an SR and see how it does. I skipped any aftershave products to see what the post shave would feel like. It was supple and smooth, very nice! Life is good!
