Ramblings of a MilkCrate

...long dog means more intestine and more 💩capacity I guess lol. Sorry you had to clean that up 😵

Yesterday I had a new internet service installed that should up my bandwidth. When they came to install, they said they don’t fish wires for inside walls. They just drill through the exterior wall and install the router. I think the dude had just missed too many meetings at Cupcakes Anonymous.
Seems to be not that uncommon these days for homes not under construction, especially these 3rd party contracted companies. My last 3 installs have all done the same thing as your dude was going to (the successive installations they just remove the old hardware and wiring and insert their own with whatever extra gadgets their equipment needs). Glad you are tech savvy enough to do it yourself!

Yeah, I have coax in the attic but I wasn’t letting them use that. That’s my external HD antenna. Bunch of slackers.

Oh the tales of times and tribulations I have for you today. But more on that shortly. Today I thought I would go with another sample I hadn’t tried yet. Not sure if the sample is old or the scent is just really mild on this one. I think I picked up just a faint whiff of Eucalyptus. Dropped a bit down into the copper bowl and went to work. This one actually surprised me, it whipped up a bunch of nice, wet lather very quickly.

The shave was very nice and I was once again surprised with the slickness and residual slickness. I never picked up much of a scent during the shave though. Three easy passes and I am BBS for the win! That really was a very nice shave and I wasn’t expecting as much from RR. Not sure why. Chased that with some Florida Water and everything was right as rain!

Home Front-
Day 4 of our abandonment and I have the following observations. In 3 days, it will be a whole week that we have been left to our own devices. Just a chill day today and I needed it. The only thing of importance was taking a large load of clean clothes to the local thrift store. The sales from that store support a battered women and childrens shelter.

Other than that I am just bumming around. Visited with my brother FTF for a few minutes yesterday and we were planning to cookout today. He called me about an hour after we talked and had got a call from the doctors office. He had an appointment yesterday and they were calling to tell him (after his visit) that their Receptionist tested positive for Covid. Great! I told him we’ll try the cookout in a couple of weeks. So we remain isolated and wait … again. Geez!

Drinking Florida Water prevents COVID. I heard it from a witch doctor on Twitter.

Today I hit The Fat and tried another SV aftershave sample. Had a decent shave, but a bit messy. I had too much water in my soap, but it worked. As you might imagine, the lather was a bit runny but still took care of business. Three smooth passes and I am BBS for the win! Followed that up with a splash of the aftershave and everything was right as rain! I wasn’t sure about this aftershave when I first put it on. I’m not sure how to describe what I initially smelled and I thought this is unfortunate. But whatever that scent was didn’t last long and the dry down was very nice. Life is good!

Nice. Da Fat might not always produce photogenic lather, but it always provided me with exactly what was needed to get a great shave.
