A nice shave this morning and I went back to the Gaelic Tweed. Love the scent, but I need to try and finish it off. I need to make room for some Black Friday stuff. Life is good!

So here I am banging out another shave with the Gaelic Tweed and a very nice shave it was. A bud of mine @SteveChuckFrank, you may know him by his superhero name Captain Obvious. Anyway he pointed out that if I finish this set I will have to replace with the same. Hm ... so true. Ok, so after today’s shave, I will need to move onto something else.

It was indeed a nice shave and I smell great. Life is good!

Lunchtime shave today. Woke up with a pounding headache and felt nauseous due to jacked up sinuses. So the shave got pushed back just a bit. Today LNHC is on deck. This one is a pleasant scent, good performance and I have been wearing this one down. Built up a really nice lather, but I should have used the scuttle.

10 laps on cotton and 40 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Not sure if it was the lather, the razor or user error but I am BBS on my cheeks and DFS on my neck. Well that was kinda lackluster, but I’ll take it. I may rub this one on a rock this evening and see if that does anything for it.

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and pat dry. A smear of the ASB and everything was right as rain! The balm went on kinda thick, but did absorb so it’s all good. Since I have a pretty good dent in this tub, I may try to knock it out. Life is good!

Sinuses have plagued me all of my life, Loratadine once a day and two store brand Alka- Seltzer Cold sometimes at night so I can breathe. (They taste better than the name brand)

Early morning shave today and it was nice. So for this experiment, I changed out the razor and kept everything else the same. Got busy last night and couldn’t rub the Dovo on a stone so I removed it from the equation. Had a very nice shave so it looks like the Dovo needs a bit of work. Be forewarned that if I can 3017 this soap without getting bored, it may make for some boring journal entries. Life is good!

Late morning shave today ... yeah me! Today is my Friday off and nothing really planned, so I slept in, had Ethiopian coffee (Stirling) and then a shave. As of today, I have a quarter size hole punched in the bottom of this soap. Most exciting. I have been working this soap off and on for a while before this go around and I am making progress. As you can see by the pic, all of the kit is the same today.

I could probably get a two pass shave from some of my gear, but I enjoy a three pass. I mostly stick to the same routine, but will sometimes mix it up. Today was a very nice shave and I am BBS for the win! Life is good!
