The Process-
TGIF! Crazy busy week with the work stuff and a bit of personal stuff. Anyway, it's Friday so let's punch it in the face. (sorry ... been listening to Slipknot) I did shave yesterday, but didn't log it. The only difference in the setups was yesterday was the Stirling synth and today is the boar. Both were very nice shaves. The synth works well with holding and releasing water, as well as building lather and painting. There's just something ... anyway. Today's shave is brought to you by the leather "B", as in "be careful out there", I stole that from my navigation app. I am using the Cookie Monster voice for directions and it helps. 30 second load time this morning and running the brush just damp, not wet. Whipped up a really nice lather and got to it.

40 laps on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. An outstanding shave and I am BBS for the win! Yup ... I'm still digging the JNat edge .. oh yeah. Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. A glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! Hitting the streets to finish this week stronk! Where's my coffee? Life is good!

The Process-
Ah ... the long awaited for late morning shave. Mixing the kit up today and parked MF for a few days. Grabbed the Slim with a new Wizamet ... just because. Decided to take a play from Don’s book and use my synth for a testing brush. Loaded the mystery soap into a mug and bloomed it for a couple of minutes. Wrung out the synth so I was working with a damp brush and got to it. It built a nice creamy lather very quickly. The lather was stable and slick, nice volume but no too much. This is the kind of lather I like for a straight. There is so much more I could tell you, but I won’t.

I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. An outstanding shave and I am BBS for the win! Damn that was nice! Since I had both eyes open and wasn’t rushed, I tried to focus on every minute detail. Very nice slickness and residual slickness. An effortless shave that just delivered in spades.

Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a drip dry. No AS today as I really wanted to focus on the post shave as well. The dry down went through a couple of phases and the end result was fantastic. Post shave has a fresh, nourished, powdery like feel. Now that I’ve given it a bit to asset that, it may be time for a glug of Florida Water. Life is good!

Home Front-
Planning on dinner with my mom and stepdad tonight. Also need to get the Christmas tree up, we are a tad behind. I think that’s it at the moment.

Let me know the next time you need some help. I'm always down for a drive up there, and all I need is an excuse for Venessa and a couch to sleep on!

We'll have to sit down and plan it all out, there are a lot of moving pieces. I don't see why it can't happen, though.
