Phoenix & Beau...

My bad, I could've worded that tons better. My brain is all sorts of trashed right now. What other scents from other artisans do you like? @Erchy

I have used the new P&B Right Handed Giant a few times now and really like it. It is a medium strength homage to Brut Classic and IMO is a tad deeper & richer, which is better of course. For me at least their soap base is slicker than snot on a brass doorknob. It even helps mediocre blades to shave better.

FWIW, they have a new one coming that is called Night Witch and pays homage to Old Spice.

That sounds awesome. Maybe I'll pick up Green Handed Giant next week. So much for not buying more stuff.

I remember using P&B samples a couple years ago. At the time I thought they were pretty decent. But if I stack them up now...I am sure I would like them still...but not sure I would feel they are as good or better than some of my favorites.

P&B makes the cut for my favorite soaps as it is one that I can simply use the lather for my post-shave and skip a splash while still feeling fantastic. That puts it in the same class for me as Wild West Shaving Co, Grooming Dept, CBL, and Southern Witchcrafts.

Although I absolutely love some other artisans, especially for the scents (GTB, The Holy Black, PAA Dapper Doc and Tombstone), I still need some form of splash to feel comfortable after shaving with them. The ones on my hot list are truly standalone soaps when I need them to be.

So I decided to go window shopping on WCS and by chance they are now selling what looks like the vast majority of P&B's soaps, splashes, and balms. Wild.
