A few years ago I was lucky enough to receive this nice soap from a gentleman in South Africa who PIF’d to me because he wanted to get rid of some stuff that he wasn’t using. Here’s my review of it.
Ease of lathering: 10/10–Terrific. Thick, rich, creamy lather so fast.
Longevity of lather: 10/10–Perfect stability. No problem for multi pass shaves.
General skincare: 8/10–Very comfortable postshave feeling. The lather’s slickness helps a lot.
Scent: 7.5/10–Quite nice. It’s a bit difficult for me to describe but I like it.
Price: N/A—As I said I received it in a PIF so I don’t know what the price is.
Would I buy again: 7/10–Perhaps. I have soooooo many soaps as it is!
Phoenix & Beau is a company in the UK which produces a LOT of great soaps but this Albion is the only one that I’ve tried. It’s damned good, I must say!
