Night shaving soap / AS scents

I frequently shave before bed as well.

Lavender essential oil has tons of research behind it. My sister was selling essential oils for Young Living several yeas ago, and I was like - "get away from me with your snake oil pitch. It's all hogwash." However, later I started searching Google Scholar and reading up, and I was blown away. Peppermint is also good for tons of stuff - not relaxation though. Bergamot also has some great benefits. I had laparoscopic hernia repair a couple of summers ago, and I woke up in recovery really nauseous. The nurse had my wife waving alcohol pads under my nose to keep me from getting sick. My wife stopped after a bit, reached into her purse and pulled out her peppermint oil pocket inhaler and that worked so much better. In fact the nurse called other nurses in there to show them. I was wheeled out of the hospital with a puke bag in one hand and that peppermint inhaler up to my nose. Did not have to use the bag. Anyway. strayed off course there.

Have you smelled Stirling's Bergamot Lavender G'ville? Another calming one to me is Proraso White. I like both of those in both the soaps and post shaves. I also love Myrsol's Emulsion.

No I haven‘t smelled either of those. I have a tin of Mike’s Natural Soaps but I can’t smell much lavender in it. Plus when I put on a Nivea balm after it covers up any scent, no matter which soap I use.
