I was asked to introduce myself.
Hello, I am Robert.
I started making youtube videos recently on honing and restoring straight razors. My user name is nonamebear1136.
So if you would like to listen to my rambles about honing, you are more than welcome to check them out.
I really enjoy restoration, sharpening straight razors, natural sharpening stones. Also I like to find new (to me) good slick soaps and new scents.
Best wishes.

Welcome Robert! Glad you could join us!

Thank you for the welcome @everyone.
@GearNoir If it is soaps, then Areffasoaps, Cajunblade soaps, and HAGS are my top favorites. For edges, I really like coticule, thuri, and an ark edge.

Welcome @Tefrem34 I like a lot of the same stuff! Unfortunately I don't have much time to restore razors anymore... Just wait until you get into JNATs, they are a whole new world of excitement and $$$.

I also enjoy woodworking, art, linux, and some gaming.
Nice! Many of the fine gents here enjoy some of those pursuits as well. Feel free to start up a thread if you want to talk about any of it. We enjoy all pursuits here.
