Creating a sense of false scarcity to drive sales and build mystique is a huge turn off.
From his communications, that isn’t what he did. He did not expect them to be that popular and sell out so fast. He said he wish he would have made more, and has a few held back that he’ll be releasing soon, but has too much other stuff going on at the moment to make more at this time.

Having spoke with the Artisan in the past I would agree wholeheartedly with KJ on this one.
