Its very humbling to stand on the deck of the Memorial and in the hushed silence......the only sound is the fluttering of the American flag overhead. All those sailors are the best of us.

I was bummed I did not get to do the tour on my visit. I did get to see the galleries and view the site in the distance. Still an emotional experience.
