Just sitting here laughing at thoughts of some of the best humor......ever!!!

I love Monty Python's Flying Circus. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

So I thought I would start a thread of appreciation to the best comedy team ever assembled in a London studio that consisted of more than 4...but less than 8 members...

Please post your favorite Python moments.

The holy grail was Chrissy and I's first "date". I was wearing my black knight it's just a flesh wound shirt at work and the guy tailing her saw knew what it was but she didn't. I told her that was a shame and that id cook her a steak and we could watch the movie (since I of course own it. )
So that was our first date.

For much of my time in high school, I carried this around under my arm like it was the bible. I remember a group of 3 or 4 friends and I renting (yes, way back in the day) the complete series of the Circus on VHS (haha) and watching the entire run over a weekend. 2 straight days of that and everything becomes surreal, I'll tell you. I can't really imagine my life without Python in it.

Although there are countless sketches that I adore...somehow this piece, The Piranha Brothers, is one of my all timers. It just has so many different styles of comedy jammed into it. Graham Chapman so often played upper class, uptight characters...but getting to see him play lower class, like in this sketch, really tickles me. And his line "and he agreed and just screwed my pelvis to a cake stand" may be the funniest thing I've ever heard. I genuinely laugh out loud even when I think about it.
