Themed weeks/months don’t really fit where I’m at right now, I can literally open up two drawers and see each soap and AS I have to choose from...but it probably helps you guys with big collections out a good bit. I’d be all for it with a large den, having some kind of inspiration when needed.
I'm in the same boat Chris, but I still thinks it's cool to participate when I can.

Kind of along the lines how most use only Speick in September?
Kind of, but not necessarily the exact same soap all month. One theme per month instead of changing the theme weekly is what I'd be more likely to do.
But I've only been alternating between two soaps lately, so I haven't been playing along.

With my particular soap use problem, I don’t really participate is theme months, unless the stars align and I happen to be using one that is that month’s theme. That said, I think theme months are really fun and help build camaraderie.

I think they can be done in collaboration with vendors to promote new scents or formulas. They could be built around a brand, scent or soap type (soft/hard, tallow/veggie, stick/puck). The Speicktembers are super fun. They could be done in combo with an awareness month.

Also, don’t forget the creams! The deeper we get into the hobby, the more we migrate to soaps, but after 3017ing my cream supply over a couple of years, I realized how much I missed them. Great scents, easy to lather, easy to finish! Virtually all of us started out with them too, so it’s easy to reminisce about it. Heck, think of the brands that have screwed up their soap formulations. Would you willingly use a Trumper soap? No such problem with the creams.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

Good thoughts Bob! Thanks for the input!

Yes!
I enjoy themes that are not TOO specific:

Drink - margarita, rum, beer, lemonade, coffee, tea, etc
Food - cookies, fruit, chocolate, almond, etc
Location - Beach, italy, ocean, Himalayas, North, etc
The alphabet one was pretty fun also.
Specific ingredient - lanolin, menthol, tallow, milk, etc

Thanks - I look forward to participating!

Oh yes! I remember the alphabet one. That one was a blast! @dangerousdon we should definitely do that one, one month.

I'm unfamiliar with the alphabet one, sounds interesting

The first of the month is letter A, second B, third C, and so on. So each day you used items that started with that letter. Made for some interesting shaves. Especially on more difficult letters. Because then we were relating them the best we could.
