I'm sorry I haven't supported better Chad. I have been trying to go systematically thru my shelves to use everything once. I'll try to incorporate them into the themes better now that the top shelf is done. How about 1) soaps you have but haven't reached for in awhile 2) Vintage Soaps 3) Stick Soaps. Just throwing out some ideas.........

I'd be more on board if they truly were monthly, not weekly. But my stock isn't huge so I usually can't go along with the theme of the week.

Monthly would be hard for many to do everyday a different one. Weekly but running a normal week to easily know when it changes would help too, like Sun thru Sat or something

Kind of along the lines how most use only Speick in September?

The reason I don't do a true week is because I am trying to divide it up into # of days. But I understand the confusion. Could definitely alter it.

I like them, in general, but don't participate too often. But it does sometimes get me to pull something out of the depths that has long been neglected.

My stock is pretty limited still, but I would join in when I could. I think it's cool to play along. Cologne based scents and barbershop scents are my faves right now. So maybe something along those lines could be added to the mix.

I think it would be better if they ran Mon-Sun..... Easier to keep track of and plan for. there's nothing saying a theme can't bridge two months.......

The way I see it...if you can participate and want to participate that is awesome! If you don't want to participate...hey...we love you still! Also...just because there is little participation now doesn't mean there won't be more participation later! In order to grow an activity...it has to be established first. Kind of like TSC...not all members knew about TSC right away...but here we are coming up on two hundo members! If it is a matter of having someone organize it..I am sure there are many a Cadre member who would be happy to relieve you of your duties! Myself included. We all know you are super busy Chad...we are here to help.

Maybe you could rotate those who manage the soap themes on a monthly basis. Maybe you change that person out every couple to a few months. Maybe you stop being a Nancy Boy and suck it up Sally! 🤪 What? Too Harsh? Just kidding...and I think you know that.

As far as themes go...we can be super creative if you want.

  • Stop and smell the roses (or Flowers)
  • Fruit Salad
  • Earth, Wind, Fire, Water
  • The Essence of manliness
  • Story Time
  • What would the Mafia shave with?
  • Swimming with the Dolphins!
  • Vacation Time!

Etc...Etc...Etc...the list can go on and on and on!

Also...you could also do a themed SOTD of the week or month. Maybe even post some of the pics on the TSC social media sites.

Anyway...Just my two cents!

I'm not sure you fully understand the consequences of this action! 🤪

I'll post some themes for April this up-coming week so the masses can get ready!

Very cool that Don is now the King of Soap Themes. Duly appointed and positioned for life. All hail Don!!

It's odd, I feel like I have a lot of soaps, until I look at the themes and see that I don't have a week's worth of most of the themes.

Themed weeks/months don’t really fit where I’m at right now, I can literally open up two drawers and see each soap and AS I have to choose from...but it probably helps you guys with big collections out a good bit. I’d be all for it with a large den, having some kind of inspiration when needed.
