John Antonioni

Shave Newbie
The experiment continues. Here is my jar of Martin De Candre original after four months of use. 121 days of use for daily 3 pass shaves. Well over 100 shaves when puck rest days are factored in. There is now about a half inch of jar rim showing and a good 3/4 inch divot into the top of the middle of the soap centre. I would consider this the half-life of this jar. So the estimate of eight months to a year of use for a tub of Martin De Candre seems to be completely valid. I am well pleased with this soap, both performance, wise and from a value perspective. Yes, expensive per jar, but inexpensive per shave.

@John Antonioni I couldn't agree more! I have one of the Cannele(Ice cream bowls) that has lasted me at least 200 shaves and it is almost at the bottom. I'm sure that if I used it daily, it wouldn't dry out and it would load more day to day. It must be 4 years old by now.

I also own the Vetiver, Fougere, Citrus, Magellan, Absinthe, and a jar of Original for when I finally exhoust my Cannele. They are all good!
