May Soap/Cream Themes

Used a Bain Amour soap for the second time this week. The owner of Bain Amour Theresa treated my family very well a few years ago and showed us some kindness when we really needed it. Love this scent to! It's fruity, spicy, and chocolaty!

May 13th - 19th: La semplicità è l’ultima sofisticazione. I think one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles said this. Okay, actually I think it was the real Leonardo that said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." I was intending this to be an Italian theme week...but take from this what you will! I looked over my soaps and I am VERY limited on Italian soap (crazy isn't it) so I might be doing a bit of interpreting as it is with this week! Make it an Italian shave...make it a simple shave. Hell, make it a Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtle shave for all I care!

Remember, Monday starts a new theme week. Again, I kind of intended for this to be an Italian theme week. But take a look at the quote and run with what you want!

Also, I failed to recognize that Sunday...tomorrow is Mother's Day (boy I'm a bad son!). So feel free to dedicate your shave or to express your devotion to the one that gave you life or to the one that gave life to your little clones! 🤪

Thanks guys for keeping this going! I've been waking up late (I think the cold threw my internal clock off) so no time to set up pics and such. I will really try hard to get my Italian shave in tomorrow!

Gents...don't worry...no beard. Summer is in full force here in Louisiana...it is way too hot.

Finally got a pic of the shave and I am woefully deficient in Italian soaps. But I found one that was hiding I have to wonder how this guy ever fell to the back of the Den!
