Wow...a little late getting this up guys...and really sorry for that. I have been seriously out of commission for the past few days. But I am feeling better and want to get the soap and cream themes posted as soon as could.
I think Bob Dylan said it best when he said, “Some people seem to fade away but then when they are truly gone, it's like they didn't fade away at all.” I am keeping this in mind for the month of may for a couple reasons. First of all it will relate to the First Week's theme. But also May 27th is Memorial Day here in the US. I know we have a good bit of International Cadre members here so I want them to join in also. Anyway here are the Month of May Themes!
May 5th: Cinco de Mayo. I never really can fathom how Cinco de Mayo became such a big thing here in the US. Celebrating the Mexican defeat of the French? But it is...and I for one am glad...and if for no other reason it's another day todrink...err...shave...yeah, that's it...it's another day to shave! Still hoping @HandleBarberDave busts out a shame theme that includes enchiladas and bonus points if there are sopapillas!
May 6th - 12th: Remembering friends you haven't visited in a while. Yeah I know...it's a long theme for the week...but how can we forget those soaps and creams that got us started in this journey. Or what about the soaps and creams that we really did like and just haven't used for whatever reason. Or what about those soaps that maybe there was something that just kind of put us off at the moment, but we really need to see what they are all about. Friends come in all forms and fashions...remember the ones you haven't used in a bit!
May 13th - 19th: La semplicità è l’ultima sofisticazione. I think one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles said this. Okay, actually I think it was the real Leonardo that said, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." I was intending this to be an Italian theme week...but take from this what you will! I looked over my soaps and I am VERY limited on Italian soap (crazy isn't it) so I might be doing a bit of interpreting as it is with this week! Make it an Italian shave...make it a simple shave. Hell, make it a Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtle shave for all I care!
May 20th - 26th: TSC Artisan Week...Stirling Soap Co. @Joe Hackett. Kind of self explanatory. I am moving the Artisan week down in the month a bit. This gives anyone who wants to participate and NEEDS more soap from the Artisan a chance to purchase a tub or two...or three...or four!
May 27th - June 2: REMEMBER: As mentioned above...the 27th is Memorial Day here in he US. It a day to honor and reflect on those whom we have lost while serving in the armed forces. I think a lot of us extend this gratitude to all who have served and lost, no matter if the were lost while in service or not. But I want this week to reflect a theme that can relate to all. So while I highly encourage you all to participate in a Memorial Day Themed Shave on May 27th, this week's theme is just a way to Remember someone or something! Come guys...and gals...let's get nostalgic!

- Pictures are always welcome, but not necessary. We just want you all to have some fun with this!
- Suggestions are always encouraged! I want to include themes that you guys want to do! So send me a PM or tag me in a post with your suggestions and will do my best to include them in the upcoming months!
- But the most important this to remember...Participate if you want to...but always have some fun!
