Well...It is Chamber Shave Company week. Unfortunately I don't have any soap from this wonderful artisan! This is an issue I will correct for the next time!

So, in lieu of have the correct shave soap for this week's theme, I am going back and hitting the letters of the alphabet that I missed earlier. Today is letter "E."

Razor: Merkur Progress
Blade: Gillette Sharp Edge (Yellow?) (New Blade)
Soap/Cream: PannaCrema - Ebano
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
Penultimate Aftershave: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel

Catching up for my absenteeism in the soap theme, I thought I would go back and shave with "E." Went with PannaCrema Ebano. PannaCrema was one of my first loves in the shaving world. While PannaCrema doesn't make this tallow line anymore, I think they have similar tallow version called Pure2O. I was one of few, if there are any others at all, who actually preferred PCs more inexpensive line to their luxury brand of Nuavia. Though I have to admit...that the scents in the tallow line could not compete with the Nuavia scents. The Nuavia scents were just luxurious and rich smelling! Ebano is a lightly wooded scent with a touch of sweetness to it. It's very subtle. So it pretty much won't interfere with most scents. Performance isn't as good as the new soap makers on the scene. But it's pretty darn good. At one time I would have told you this was a top three soap for me. But with all the great stuff coming out right now...PC Ebano would likely rank somewhere as a high two. Still love this soap though...as I said...it was one of my first loves in shaving. Three passes and a little cleanup have me feeling right and smooth for my Monday morning. A couple glugs of American Blend man do I feel good. Once I put the work clothes on, it will be all business. But a few more spritzes of the EdT of the same name and it's on like Michelle Kwan!
