Comment Ca Va Wet Shavers?

I’m happy now officially be here as an Artisan/ Vender. I currently have 2 storefronts, my main store is TheCajunBladeStore@etsy.com. I do occasionally list items on TheCajunBlade on eBay.
I offer shave soaps and occasionally razors & stones. You’re welcome to message me for any information about my soaps or razor honing.

My shave soaps:
I’ve build my soaps for me. It’s a beef tallow base shave soap with incredible slickness. I am a straight razor shaver, so I build my soap for the SR shaver, but it will work great for DE shaving as well. I have sensitive skin so my soaps are medium to low scented. I try to use mostly essential oil and keep my recipe simple.

I make my soaps in small batches (35-40 soaps), when they sell out, I move on to new fragrance. I don’t do timeline releases, I replenish as need, I think this keeps it fun and interesting.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Welcome Eric, and I can tell everybody from experience his soaps are fantastic

Mr. Cajun of the Finest blades...where are you located? As we may be neighbors...relatively speaking. Not that we are relatives. Or are we? No...probably not.

I am located in rural Acadia Parish, and if your from Cajun Country, we may very well be related 🥴😜.
Definitely not related. 😆

But, we are practically neighbors. A little to your east. I live in Denham Springs, just a little East of Baton Rouge.

Saw a soap with bourbon... So my first soap order in 2 years has been placed.

Happy to support a new vendor.

@thecajunblade , Welcome Eric, Super to have one of the Finest Shave Enthusiasts and Artisan Soap makers here. Love the sops, love their performance and love the artwork on the covers big time.

Never mind on the 3017, I found it. That sounds like a blast. I wish I could join, I am always experimenting with my unscented soap and oils to decide what is next.
Bourbon Cowboy has quickly become my favorite.

@BarberDave favorite way to use soap!

Use it everyday til it's gone. Guess we'll learn how long a soap lasts
3017'ing is for Mentally Deranged Minimalists that enjoy the same thing over, and over, and over, and over... Mostly they are either Busch Beer, white claw or Bourbon Drinkers..... Go figures HUH? LOL

@Cvargo

Before I made my own soaps, I was very boring. I could use Arko every day, and did often. Never got into soap collecting, it was all about stones and razors for me. That all changed, I have a different respect for Artisan soap makers now. I found some brands that use the tallow bases I enjoy. It’s been fun expanding my pallet. Can’t wait to get home and try a few new soaps I picked up, specifically some CBL. Been a long hitch, and this old man is ready to put his feet back on dirt.
