If you have to do something...

Definitely shingles. Minimum 5 days of trying to stay at home. Guess I’ll be hoboing it for the next week.

I had a small patch of shingles on my side....thankfully just above my belt line....a few years ago. Itched like crazy and felt like I had a sunburn...it was actually warm to the touch. When I showed the rash to the nurse...she literally jumped back. That's not the reaction you're looking for from your health care professional.
Was she surprised that it was warm?

Wow, you jumped past several phases right into old man.
Chris, on behalf of all the rest of us geezers, I bid you welcome.. Please step this way to pick up your mandatory AARP membership card and Mercury Grand Marquis. Expect delays. It's Friday after all.

I keep forgetting to sign up for AARP.

Welp…worst night so far, even with the newly prescribed pain relief. Maybe it would have been worse without it but it felt like it did nothing honestly. Hopefully more routine relievers and distraction throughout the day bring some peace.

It is indeed Friday!

No shave today…may not be able to for some number of days unfortunately. My skin issue (happened to be on my face/head) definitely developed further in the last day. At urgent care now to hopefully figure it out.

That’s a bummer.
Prayers

Trials continue. At least I got better rest having added some extra OTC pain relief into the mix.

We’ll see what the day brings I guess.

Only a couple spots left of active virus seemingly (in my unprofessional opinion) as well as some continued ear issues and minor nerve pain. The rest are ugly as heck but seem to be scabbing over or subsiding. Some rather massive scabs on my face so I’m still unable to shave and entirely unpresentable for work in a medical setting. I’ll have to see what my managers say as to when to return.
