Friday! A weekend of small celebrations ahead, as our friend and pastor who helped bring us down here to SB is gathering her friends to help her celebrate her wedding tomorrow night. Next week she’ll be off to CO for her new life chapter. Exciting and happy for her! Sad for us!

I lived on the west coast for three years, back when I was drinking. Popping a cold beer at 10am to watch NFL football was great. Saturdays were challenging - it was rare for me to be up at 9am to watch college football, so I usually tuned in after kickoff, which to my way of thinking meant I had some catching up to do.
