If you have to do something...

The southern hospitality was real! Our hosts were perfectly gracious, our visits with the church elders were fun and informative, the town and country side is gorgeous, the church and it’s membership were highly welcoming! And the fooooood...oh man! I am going to have a hard time keeping the pounds off with such good southern eating!
Sounds like a great trip.

I'm glad you decided to jump right into the culture.

Shave #283 (352 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable, Supply blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, Scheermonnik Delfts Wit soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, and Pitralon Classic AS to finish!

Tiiiiiiiired.

Back to the grind, meaning Wednesday morning early morning wake up to get the kids to school. I’ve been downing Vitamin C tablets every morning to help the immune system. Seems to be holding off something!

Got back home and cleaned up / shaved. Put a little bit of life back in the face and skin.

I did have a chat with my host yesterday morning (he’s also an elder of the church). He threw out the idea, very unofficially, that I may be asked to fly out myself one more time at the end of the month to tag along with a two day weekend retreat the kids are going in and maybe teach one Sunday school class lesson that Sunday. He also requested some teaching samples. So I sent a couple recent manuscripts and some audio files (2 years old unfortunately). That’s another good sign though I guess! We’ll see.

Have a great Wednesday all!
