Shave #141 (293 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS folding, Feather Pro blade, RR Game Changer .68, Gillette 7 o’clock Green blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, A&E L’Orange Verte soap, Thayers Medicated, Lucky Tiger AS, and CC Venture AS to finish!

Really nice followup shave to yesterday’s venture in foolishness. Surprisingly less lasting irritation than it felt like I was going to have the rest of the day, but all that post shave I quickly slapped on to my face at the end of the video really did it’s work well. Regardless, today’s shave was far kinder and didn’t have me sweating bullets.

In to work early today. I’m going to be getting the low down on how to strip floor finishes and then how to refinish and seal them. That’s probably going to be a good chunk of my work day. I’ll be off early and get to spend an evening with the family though, which are few and far between once the work week starts.

Have a great Tuesday all!

Amazing how nice a shave can be when you can see......at least that's what all my blond family tell me 😂 Oh, back breaking floor stripping and finishing. I sub most out if big anymore and just do the buffing with a high speed propane burnisher. Have fun and take it easy.

Thanks Dave...turning into a huge hassle right now. These floors haven’t been properly stripped and finished in years. Possibly just finish on finish. Our tools are quite old too. The guy showing us what to do is not happy lol.

When I see them do sections at time here it looks like a pain in the butt. But then again, that's just every so many years and all the rest of the time the guy gets to ride the floor machine.

Total nightmare. Spent all day working on this one room...probably 300 something sq ft...still needs more stripping. We even used more high power product for the second half.

First thing the missus said when she saw me “Why do you smell like bug spray? Seriously wafting.” I think I’ve lost a million brain cells...this might double my shave video times... :ROFLMAO:

Told you. It's miserable work........did it for years. Had a Walmart we did too..........

Sorry about the rough day.

I just finished your blindfolded shave and you did a great job. I'm very tempted to try a straight for it sometime on my shifts this weekend. Guess we'll see

The good news is I’ve heard all those chemical vapors tighten your skin and make you look younger.

Thanks for taking the time out to watch, I know it was a long one.

I definitely make time, when I can and it doesn’t mean I’ll be too sleep deprived, for my shaves.

Wait, so now he’s going to look younger than 16??
Hah! At some point I’m sure it diminishing returns.

Shave #142 (294 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS folding, Feather Pro blade, RR Game Changer .68, Gillette 7 o’clock Green blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, A&E L’Orange Verte soap, Thayers Medicated, and Old Spice AS (modern) to finish!

Welp...up early for Mr Mom duties. Took a quick shave for myself as the kids were still getting ready for school. Managed to wake up just enough to make it an open blade one.

I’ve really been trying Josh’s moisturizer/AS mix step my last couple of shaves. It mutes the scents a bit but I like the way it works!

Out to grab a coffee with the missus as we head to the church for work. More floor stripping today...
