If you have to do something...

Good stuff Chris. I always liked the performance of Cella, but the scent is just too sweet. I am sure I have said that before, but hey I can repeat myself.

It's pretty awesome that you have so many shaves with that tub...and still have at least that many more! So...what's next?

Thanks guys!

I think, as depressing as it might turn out to be, I’m going to try and put a little dent in the DRH Sandalwood...large emphasis on “try” and “little dent”...lol!

Getting caught up Chris, I like Cella to me it smells like Cherry Coke, and don't trust Chad, he thinks Stella Alpina smells like Tumbleweeds......... Who smells Tumblweeds.... and @Cvargo aren't they hard to catch??:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::whistle:

Shave #82 (267 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Ikon El Jefe, Feather Pro blade (19), RR Game Changer .68, Astra SP blade (8), RR Big Bruce synth, Cella soap, generic witch hazel, and Bootlegger’s Bay Rum AS to finish!

2 strikes, you’re out! Both blades getting changed tomorrow.

Off to work soon, so just a quick one today. Shave results were good, but blades were rough.

Missus and I are going to have a sit down at some point in regards to our tax return - what we need to do, what we can (or can’t) splurge on a little as a treat, and what we need to try and save. In anticipation, I’m tightening up my immediate acquisitions list to what I think is reasonable. That does mean continued delayed acquisition on some things sadly, this is essentially the one time a year we can loosen up the purse strings a tad, and I still have a long list of things I’d like to get my hands on - handgun cert and a nice first piece, motorcycle, watches, and of course shaving items such as a General. Around this time of year our necessities list is also grown unfortunately - a second car, a new computer for the house, rooting out our home’s drains, AC unit maintenance for summer, etc. Whoever though the world should run on money instead of giving is a big fat jerk. :p

Right now I’m thinking the list will be limited to:
- Supply Injector razor
- Fine AB AS and EdT
- Last is an undecided, 3 way tie between CBL soap, SV soap, or a churchwarden pipe starter kit to try.

Going in early to work today, so that means I’m able to be home a little earlier, always a good thing!

Hope everyone is off to having a grand Saturday!

Good luck with the spousal finance discussion. I'm blessed with a wife who knows numbers, is frugal, and loves me.

I quite like my Supply Injector.

The first piece is exciting.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’ll just be happy to have a new toy or two.

Hey I am with you Chris! I haven't really been able to do much in the way of purchases since December in the shaving department. The wife and I discussed and we have tightened the spending reigns quite a bit! To top that off...we are incurring some medical expenses...small ones, but still expenses. That and my priorities for immediate spending have changed a little bit...first a Standing desk and a new chair for work...and then a Fitbit or something similar that have good sleep technology. The good news is that I have enough blades, soaps, and aftershaves to keep me going for quite some time. But yeah...I feel your pain!

Thanks Don! Solidarity!

Shave #83 (268 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Feather SS folding shavette, Feather Pro blade (1), RR Game Changer .68, Rapira blade (1), RR Big Bruce synth, JoHS Turkish Bath (Barbershop) soap, generic witch hazel, Fine Platinum AS, and Fine Platinum EdT to finish!

Already headed off to church for the morning.

Decent shave today considering the length of time since the last Feather SS useage. Only a couple small nicks and a bit of irritation.

Cella went back into the drawer today and I pulled out a favorite that hadn’t seen use in a while...Jeeves of Hudson Street Turkish Bath (aka now as Barbershop). Great warm scent, muted talc freshness, solid performer!

Have a blessed Sunday all!
