If you have to do something...

I think his Sunday is Sunday and Monday is his Saturday. And then Saturday is his Friday?

So REALLY Sunday is his Saturday and Monday is his Sunday and Saturday is his Friday
I think in actuality, yes. But heck, it's after 11. If he lived closer I'd drive over to bang on the door to see if he was still sleeping.

All that needs to be said, right?

This guy has been rolling out of bed later and later on his day off!
True, I forget it's his Sunday or something like that

I’ll have you know that as Mr Mom, I’m up at 6:30am every day lol...even on my days off. Video is being edited and uploaded now.

Shave #14 of 2019:

Gear: Occam Razor v2 (2 dot plate), Feather Pro blade (8), RR Big Bruce synth, LNHC Coconut Oud soap, generic witch hazel, and RR The Stallion AS to finish!

The blade loading is similar to the Oneblade. The razor itself definitely stands out in the AC field.

Shave #15 of 2019:

Gear: Occam Razor v2 (2 dot plate), Feather Pro blade (9), Yaqi SF synth, CBL Barbershop soap, generic witch hazel, and Barbasol Pacific Rush AS to finish!

Good shave today; a tad bit better than yesterday’s in some spots. Still zeroing in on a good way to tackle the underside of the jaw and corners of the mouth with this razor (aka completely normal learning curve).

BBS on the cheeks lasted well over 12 hours from yesterday’s shave. A very good indicator for me of the highest level of of shave quality possible; not all of my razors can do that, some can do it with a little extra effort, only a couple with ease.

The jangling of the blade is still off putting, but I’m feeling at least more toward indifferent with it.

Back to work today. The next 8 or so weeks are the custodial staff’s “hell” weeks. It all revolves around the basketball camp. Tuesday’s and Saturday’s will be days of a flurry of activity and late closings (close to midnight Saturdays). My mind is ready but my body is not lol.

Into the breech...for the children!

Have a great Tuesday all!

Nice shave Chris! You’re really able to get these new razors dialed in pretty quickly it seems.

Thanks Steve! That seems to be the case I guess. Most of the razors I’ve tried have seemed fairly intuitive to me when proceeding the first few times with a moderate amount of precaution.

Let the razor do the talkin’; don’t make the razor talk!

Shave #16 of 2019:

Gear: Occam Razor v2 (2 dot plate), Feather Pro blade (10), William’s soap (modern; as preshave), RR Big Bruce synth, Proraso Red soap, generic witch hazel, and Proraso Red AS to finish!

Nice shave today with the Occam. Today I felt confident enough to really whip it around. I’m actually enjoying the slight blade bend allowed. The blade still feels fairly rigid, but simply attacks coutours much more easily than other AC razors I’ve tried. It felt really comfortable rounding the chin and jaw. Any blade rattling was a non-issue today; I didn’t even notice/hear it if there was.

Woke up this morning with a bit of lower back pain. Yesterday’s shift in combo with sleeping wrong I think. When I did hit the pillow last night, I was lights out pretty fast though lol.

Just as a thought: The concept of sleep and losing consciousness has always been a curious think. I never remember actually falling asleep. Just one point it’s night and I’m getting comfortable, then the next point the alarm is ringing for me to wake up. I suppose there is some kind of grace in that being able to let go completely for a short time.

Have a great Wednesday all!
