I had never had a pumpkin spiced latte until a few years ago and almost gagged when my wife ordered one. I had NO idea how sweet they were. I drink my coffee black so not exactly the target consumer I suppose.
I did find throwing a pinch of pumpkin pie spice across the top of the coffee grounds before brewing added a nice little seasonal kick to my morning cup but that's a far cry from a pumpkin spiced latte or those similar creamers you can buy at the grocer.
