Hi to everyone , and thanks to bill m for inviting me to the shave forum . I've been a barber for 35 years and I started using straight razors in 2008 . Untill resent my honing method has changed to using convexed hones, and what a difference.

Welcome to the forum Gary! Glad to have another straight razor user and barber on the forum. Our good friend @Bill M also uses convexed hones. I would be interested in trying this process at some point, as it sounds like it provides a wonderful edge.

I have 3 Simpson's Manchurian and I really like them one is a chubby 3 duke 3 and a M7 . Soaps I prefer over cream. I like wickhams and mcd tabac wholly kaw .
