Hi from the East Coast

Hello. I joined a week or two ago and am a life-long cartridge razor user. After 26 years in the military I stopped shaving daily upon retirement and now I shave once or maybe twice a week so I don't look like a dirtbag. Hoping to learn about DE safety razors and and related products and avoid buying a dozen in search of the perfect razor.

I'm have been an avid UFC/MMA watcher since 1997 and love dabbling in wood working, cooking (chemistry where you can eat your experiments), trying new food and being out doors.

Thanks everyone. I need to hurry up and find a razor since I'm out and refuse to buy any more cartridges (used Dorce Pace 3 and Sesor Excel (2))

Well a Merkur 34C or an Edwin Jagger are good places to start for an inexpensive and all around good razor. The 34C was my first modern razor, and still use it today.
