This is another South African produced soap which I received a few years ago but I had almost forgotten about. It’s vegan based because the producer is against the use of tallow in her products.
Ease of lathering: 10/10–Whips up to great lather very fast. Not that slick though.
Longevity of lather: 10/10–No problems that way.
General skincare: 6/10–Fairly decent but not the best. Mildly but pleasantly mentholated.
Scent: 8/10–Very nice - a mixture of citrus, clove, and other notes.
Price: N/A—No idea. I traded for it with another South African vendor.
Would I buy again: 0/10–No. It’s not slick enough for me and it’s also not as good in the skincare department as most of my other soaps.
This soap lathers and does the job very well but it’s just an everyday artisan soap made by an amateur who’s more into bath soaps and cosmetics for women. She doesn’t seem to know as much about wetshaving products as most other artisans from South Africa.
