DE Razor of the Day

Razor Fatip OC on a Yaqi Handle
Shave with the razor and blade combination was super smooth...glass-like sea surface...until unexpectedly bitten...lesson learned, don't let the guard down especially if all looks calm & smooth! 3passes for a mostly bbs finish but 2 red spots.

That razor looks awesome; however, the geologist in me only sees the phaneritic to pegmatitic textured intrusive (plutonic) igneous rock (Granite) with its abundance of felsic minerals including Orthoclase feldspar, Plagioclase feldspar (Albite & some Oligoclase), Amphibole (Hornblende), Biotite mica, and Quartz. How do you expect me to get passed that? ⛏️⛏️⛏️;)

New blade today. Had been reading about the Parker DE blades online and finally got a chance to try them when an order arrived containing a complimentary pack. Decided to stick with the Rockwell Model T so I could try it at various levels of aggressiveness. Set it to 4 for today's shave and it was a bit mild. Will up it to 5 for tomorrow's shave.
