Coticule Honing demo ...there will be blood.

I set out to do a whole Coticule progression on tape but got interrupted, then distracted. While distracted, I inadvertently lifted my thumb into the danger zone and BAM. Up to that point the video may be of value to those who are playing with stones of their own.
I already set the bevel on the razor using a Norton 4k, so what I am doing on video is what I might do to clean-up and refine the edge to shave ready condition. Is my technique and/or my progression the best representation of how you should hone? Probably not, BUT the shave test of this razor proved the edge was very well done. Enjoy!

That's quite the variation on the tomato test. Unless you were shooting for a thumb pad test...I don't think that's exactly what they meant.

Hope it heals soon....at least the razor came out well!
