Just a quick mention for those that did not know. Phil and Bullgoose Shaving is shuttering after over 17 years. I have known him for almost that long, did a commercial for him and sad to see him go. Earlier this year we spoke, and I did not share the details of his non-renewal of being a Artisan-Vendor here until now. Many of you may have already received notification that he will be closing on May 1st, and will not be re-stocking anything

That being said, he is still a member and we wish him the best. If you have the time , head on over and take advantage of his 25% off Storewide as he says good bye

Good Luck Phil!

I guess that's the end of his SV vanity soap. Sorry to see hom go.

Giving this a bump!

This is the final week for the shop. They close on Friday.

Apparently there is still quite a bit still in stock. The current coupon code is "LastCall" which is good for 35% off.

Anyone who is a triple milled soap fan should pickup some of the Asylum Shave Works Levante soap before it is gone. I just tried it recently and it is fantastic! I now have a ton of it in my stash.

Sad to see Bullgoose Shaving go. Seems like they were a staple a while back when there were not many choices. Solid products. Nowadays I bet it's a tough business with so many shaving sites and vendors out there.

Huh looks like I missed out on this way long ago. I wonder how his product was with you guys, seemed interesting

Phil, was one of the 1st online retailers in this shaving space, he carried multiple brand, as well as debuting SV to the US, as well as many other niche brands. He also ventured into his own brand Asylum Shave Works. He also was one of the 1st on the handheld AC type bladed razors with the Asylum RX, which is still widely considered as one of the best. Sadly this space for retailers has become very congested and with rising costs. Not to mention the cost of goods and rental space in his home state of California. For many of us he was to "go to" when we began traditional shaving, and as a Artisan Retailer here, he was always interactive with the members

Top notch customer service and the Asylum Shave Works soaps were outstanding as well. He, as stated above, introduced many European products to the US consumer, that we would have never had access too. Many of the current retialers owe a debt of gratitude to Phil for opening doors in that space

Bullgoose, and more importantly Phil, will be missed

Yeah that's for true. Seeing now how many big retailers popped up online, also with the rise of niche local brands selling from their own sites, I can see how he'd come to this conclusion.

Shame I missed out on partaking with one of the first main sites for when the hobby really picked up. Sad to see history up and go like that.
