Who is this “Lord Randall” and why did he have a badger that grew horse’s hair? Or was a a horse that grew badger’s hair?

Or maybe it was some half horse, half badger abomination that grew both hairs? 🤔

[emoji1]I'm guessing it's the Lord Randal of the very old English ballad who was poisoned by his lover, and the knot from the abomination .
It's a great brush with some scritch from the horse. It lathers a soap very well for me and the handle is a good fit for my hands.
