I’m not big on mug or even bowl loading/lathering in part because the ones I’ve used always seem to “klink” too much! The sound drives me nuts!

Yes, I try to avoid hitting the brush handle on the bowl. Today I just held the new puck in my palm and loaded directly that way. The big brush made it somewhat awkward.
