Here’s an amazing soap made in the Netherlands by a barber over there who used to shave his customers with it and sell it to them occasionally. Now he keeps it just for himself.
Ease of lathering: 10/10–Because it’s such a small container I rub it all over my face and neck like a stick. Works great!
Longevity of lather: 10/10–Perfect stability. Holds up beautifully!
General skincare: 8/10–It leaves such a soothing postshave feeling.
Scent: 8/10–Not an old school barbershop scent. It’s very modern and fresh.
Price: 5/10–It’s quite pricey for such a small container. I paid $22 EU for it.
Would I buy again: 8/10–Very possibly I would if the producer would agree to sell it to me.
A guy in the Netherlands shipped me this one along with a bunch of other great Dutch soaps that I paid considerably less for. He put me in contact with the barber who is actually a very nice guy but he told me that for personal reasons he prefers not to market it and he shaves his customers with Proraso Green or Arko. Ah well…..
