Boots shaving stick

Another el cheapo stick from the UK. It’s…..let’s just say that it gets the job done.

Ease of lathering: 8.5/10–It’s pretty good in that respect.

Longevity of lather: 8/10–Stays stable. No real issues.

General skincare: 7/10–Fairly decent. Leaves a sufficiently comfortable postshave feeling.

Scent: 6.5/10–Not bad. It’s sort of lemony and soapy.

Price: 10/10–As I said it’s extremely cheap. It sells for about three bucks Euro or so.

Would I buy again: 0/10–Not a chance. There are much better soaps than this one. I don’t mind paying more for something that’s good quality.

Boots is a pharmaceutical company in the UK that produces shaving stuff for men. This stick and the bowled soap version are at the lower end. At least to me. This stuff as I said gets the job done but there’s nothing else really good about it.

I advise all my friends who are traditional wetshavers not to buy this one. It’s subpar. (In my honest and unbiased opinion!)

I was in several Boots stores this past fall and didn't see it on the shelves. I wonder if it has been discontinued?
